VAUTOUR, VALERIE "VAL" - (1931-2011) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Valerie Vautour 79, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011. Born in Cap St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joseph D. Vautour and late Suzanne (Robichaud) Vautour. Before retiring, Val was employed as a woodsman, fisherman and as a nurses aid at the Villa Maria in St. Louis. Val will be sadly missed by his wife; Doris (O’Brien) Vautour, two sons; Paul (Jeannita) of St. Charles and Carey (Tracey) of Cap St. Louis, one daughter; Lise Richard (Rheal) of Saint Antoine, six grandchildren; Philippe, Jérémie, Mélanie, Troy, Bianca and Adam, four brothers; David (late Dorice) of Richibucto, Arsène of St. Louis, Adelard (Ursule) of Cap St. Louis and Josephat (Lucie) of Cap St. Louis. Val is also survived by four sisters-in-law; Anna, Viola, Annette and Rosalie and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters; Edith Comeau, Florida Guimond, Dorina Vautour, eight brothers; Edmond, Adelard, Alphonse, Joseph, O’Neil, Jim, Val (infant), Augustin (infant).
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Friday at 10:30 until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 5th, 2011 at 12:30 pm, St. Louis de Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
