Gerry was born in Draperstown, Northern Ireland, August 7, 1931. He is survived by his wife, Mina; son, Neil, Oakville, Ontario; Mina's children, Kathleen and Stewart MacMillan; sister and brothers, May Beckett (Bill), Belfast, Northern Ireland; Harold (Marie), Brampton, Ontario; Stanley (Valerie), Portsmouth, England; and David (Joyce), Australia. Gerry was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret, and daughter, Elaine.
Honouring Gerry's wishes, there will be neither visitation nor funeral. His ashes will be buried in the family plot in Meadowvale Cemetery, Mississauga, Ontario.
