Peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Friday Aug. 5, 2011 of Ralph F. Cobb formerly of Long River, aged 85 years. Born in Tryon on Aug. 9, 1925 son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Fielden) Cobb. Beloved husband of Edythe E. (nee Donald) Cobb of Summerset Manor, Summerside. Dear father of Dianne (Gregg) Hogg, Kensington; Donald (Karen) Cobb, Spring Brook and Wayne Cobb, Long River. Proud grandfather “Poppie” to Jennifer (Mike) Poirier, Jeffrey Hogg (Tammy Bevan), Angela Cobb, Lisa Cobb and Jason Cobb (Megan Hudson), Maggie and Gracie Burns, and their mother Janice Burns. Great grandfather of Addison Poirier, Denton Hogg and Dylan Cobb. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Rhoda Bernard, Tom (Marie) Cobb, Eileen (Don) Clark. As well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Marion Cobb in infancy, Beatrice Miller - MacRae and Frances Walsh, brother Heath Cobb, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Walter Bernard, Hedley Miller, Harvey MacRae and Lloyd Walsh, sister-in-law Anna (nee Donald) and her husbands Ralph Edwards and Elric Campbell, John and his wife Mary Donald. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Saturday from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
