Died suddenly at his home, on the evening of August 3rd, 2011. Born in 1936 to Agnes Wiseman (nee) Ryan and Jack Wiseman. Predeceased by both parents, including stepfather Tom Sweeney, as well as his sister Theresa Tobin (nee Wiseman) and brothers Ned and Jack Wiseman. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Verna Wiseman of 50 years, daughter Kathleen Wiseman and son Thomas Joseph Wiseman Jr.; sisters Leen Kavanagh, Lorraine Ashford, Sheila Earle and Marilyn Hickey; brothers Patrick Sweeney and Phonse Sweeney; also his beautiful granddaughter Jillian Patricia Ezekiel (nee Wiseman); grandsons David Robert Crowley, Josh Cluett and Cheyne Wiseman; great-grandson Aiden Ezekiel, son of Jillian and Aaron Ezekiel and a long list of nieces and nephews. Loved by all who knew him. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Great-grandfather! A kind and gentle man and a friend to all! Also a Fantastic Musician! Waking at Pendergast’s Funeral Home Sunday August 7th from 12 noon - 9 pm. Mass to take place Monday August 8th at 2 pm from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Bell Island. Inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Bell Island. Luncheon after Mass in the basement of St. Michael’s Parish, Bell Island.
