Passed peacefully away on August 5, 2011. Baxter Noftall aged 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Evelyn Noftall, and brother Walter Noftall. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 51 years Jessie (nee Penney); daughters: Carol Rideout (Boyd), and Linda Porter (Rodney); brothers: Bill Noftall (Irene), Robert Noftall (Mary), Tom Martin (Barb), and Val Martin (Gilberte); sisters: Bonnie Alderson (Ron), and Mary Chafe (Bill); special sister-in-law Bessie Penney; four grandchildren: Michelle, Melissa, Tristan, and Jessica; two great-grandchildren: Hunter, and Jack; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special thank you to the Dialysis Units of the Waterford Hospital and Health Sciences Complex. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon and 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army West Corps, Mundy Pond Road on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
