Peacefully at St. Peters Hospital on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, of Claude Cheverie of Hamilton, formerly of Souris, P.E.I., passed away in his 61st year. Loving father of Michelle Gregory (Todd) and Renee Cheverie (Stew). Dear Grampie of Lennie, Michael and Mark. Cherished uncle of Lauren and Andrew. Claude will be lovingly remembered by longtime companion Karen Robinson and family. He will be greatly missed by devoted friend Jim “Brooksie’’ Brooks (Agnes) and is survived by Aunt Sr. Anne Cheverie and many friends. Claude was a longtime employee of Stelco and will be sadly missed by all who knew him and also he will be forever remembered by Abolene Myst band members Duck MacIntosh John Scott and Smid. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church in Rollo Bay at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Predeceased by wife Cathy White, sister- and brother-in-law Heather and Carter MacKenzie.
