May 12th , 1932 - Aug 4th, 2011. Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer and emphysema on August 4th, 2011, in his 79th year. Loving father of Linda (Mike), Kevin (Angela), Brian (Tony), Cindy (Gary), and Terry (Tina). A loving friend and companion, Shiela Cox. Kevin will be greatly missed by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cherished brother of Raymond (Madeline), Alice (Bob), Albert (Linda), Willie (Marg C.), Marg, Angela (Gord) and Joe (Ramona). Predeceased by parents Albert and Annie, and siblings: Patrick in infancy, Mary, Annie and Jer. He will be sadly missed by many other family and friends. Remains resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island, on Monday, August 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 9th at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Kevin’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
