This world would be a heaven,
Could we hear your voice again.
Years have swiftly passed,
But still we don’t forget,
For in the hearts that loved you best,
Your memory lingers yet.

Three years have passed and gone,
Since one we loved so well,
Was taken from our home on earth,
With Jesus Christ to dwell.
The flowers we placed on her grave,
May wither and decay,
But the love for her who sleeps beneath,
Shall never fade away.
