Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Wednesday, July 27th, 2011, ALFREDA P. FOOTE of Creston South, NL, in her 85th year. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Gordon (Carol), Moncton, NB, Chester (Joanne), Appleton, John (Louise), Carbonear, Cecil (Sylvia), Creston South, daughters Mary Fizzard (John), Creston South, Emily Bath (Vay), Creston North, Melvena White (Cecil), Bishop Falls, Joan Andrews (Bradley), Creston South, Judy Collins (Freeman), Burin, Carol Power (Cecil), Toronto, ON; 24 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren; sisters Bride Foote, Creston North and Beatrice Taylor, Creston South; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Reginald. Pastor Paul Perry conducted the Funeral Service at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Creston North, on Saturday, July 30th, 2011; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Creston North. In Alfreda’s memory, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, St. John’s.
