COLE, HENRY - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Henry Jefferson Cole of Toronto, ON which occurred on August 5, 2011 at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Henry was born October of 1940, the son of the late Margaret (Cole) Sharp. He worked for Classic Construction in Saint John for many years, relocated to Jamaica for a period of time and then to Toronto. Prior to retirement he was employed with AMJ Campbell Movers in Toronto. He enjoyed reading and dreamed of returning to Jamaica one day. Henry is survived by sons Marc Jefferson Cole of Saint John, Sterling Henry Cole (Rosann) of Yarmouth, NS and Jefferson Andrew Cole of Toronto; loving companion, Lorraine “Jessie” O'Ree of Toronto; cousin and best friend Frank Jones of Montreal, PQ; aunt, Helen Jones (Ronald) of Montreal; uncle, Kenneth Cole (Betty) of Grandbay-Westfield and several cousins. Besides his mother, Henry was predeceased by his dear aunt, Myrtle (Cole) Moore, Jeffrey’s mother Dorthy Laura Smith, aunts Edith Puller and Jean Bradix and uncle Francis Cole.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
