Frances Edna Taylor (Boomer) age 81, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan.
Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Suther and Nina (Perry) Boomer.
Frances worked at various Restaurants as well as Northern Telecom, Lifesavers, Frenchies and Penny Pinchers in Amherst. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards with her friends and family.
Frances will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sons, Roy (Sherrill) Pettigrew of Amherst, Allison (Sharon) Taylor of Ontario; her daughter, Fay Holt of Chignecto, NS; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Harold; daughters, Kathleen and Judy; son, Bruce and grandson, Steven Roy Pettigrew.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate France's life on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906).
