The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, of Lawrence (Larry) Hardy, of Summerside, aged 68 years.
Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late J.J. Leonce and Daphne (Stevenson) Arsenault. Survived by his daughter Chrissi Hardy (Gordon Smith), Summerside; brothers and sisters Dianne (Paul) Vander Basch, Dartmouth, N.S.; Iris (Barry) Stenton, Dartmouth, N.S.; Stephen (Leslie) Arsenault, French River; Vickie Arsenault (Preston Ramsay), Freetown; Bobby (Mary Lynn) Arsenault, Summerside; Willowdene Arsenault (Frank Gaudet), Kensington; Rocky Arsenault (Lori Lisk), Kensington; Bernice (Bob) Randall, Summerside; numerous nieces and nephews; and by his special companion “Rusty”, his 22-year-old cat.
Predeceased by his daughter, Tracey Lee Hardy, in infancy; the mother of his children Marsha (Perry) Hardy; his father Harry Hardy; and by his brother Peter Vance, in infancy.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
