Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, on Tuesday, Aug. 02nd, 2011, ALICE HODDER, formerly of Burin, NL, in her 96th year. Leaving to mourn her loving sons Max (Jane), Creston South, Robert (Irene), Salmonier, Levi (Betty), North Sydney, NS, Randy (Helen), Salmonier, Daughters Madeline Broydell (Edgar), Burin Bay Arm, Mary Mayo (Garnish), Faye Banfield (Cedric), Garnish, Patricia Grandy (Ray), Garnish, Ettie Jean Taylor (Alvin), Burin Bay Arm, ; 46 Grandchildren, 70 Great Grandchildren; sister Florence Patey, Sydney Mines, NS, daughters in law Edna Hodder, Moncton, NB, Annie Hodder, North Sydney, NS; and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel, sons Kenneth, Thomas and Samuel Jr., and grandchildren Kevin, Winston, John, Gerald and Joan. In Alice’s memory, donations may be made to the Hodder’s Point Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Salmonier, NL.
