Donald Byrne of Winchester, formerly of Newfoundland and Labrador, passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 12, 2009. He was 51. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis. He was the son of Gertrude and the late Edward Byrne. He was the loving father of Deon Hunt, Jennifer and Jonathon Byrne. He was the dear brother of Tony, Jerry, Dale, Ron, Brian and Clyde, and the special brother of Rob, Donna, Annie and Sadie. He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws, especially Maureen. Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Monday, September 14. A private family gathering was held Tuesday, September 15 followed by cremation.
