MELANSON, JOHN - John Melanson passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, August 9th, surrounded by family and friends.
John's Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 13th. The family will receive condolences at 10:00 am, prior to the Mass. At John's request there will be a celebration of his life at the Aberdeen Cultural Centre, 140 Botsford Street, at 1:30 pm, hosted by his children Simon, Zach, Sam and Hannah. Family and friends are invited to share their stories, music and memories of John. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of John may be made to Community Forests International, www.forestsinternational.org, an organization to which John was deeply committed.
