At Stewart Memorial Hospital, Tyne Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 of Olive “Marjorie” MacKay, formerly of Ellerslie, aged 90, wife of the late Vernon MacKay. Born in O’Leary on Aug. 12, 1920 Marjorie was the daughter of the late John L and Minnie (Sproule) Maynard. Loving sister to Wendell (Blanche) Maynard, Birch Hill; sister in law to Doris Maynard, Summerside and Shelton MacKay, Tyne Valley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and her dear friend and caregiver Olive Walsh. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brother Earle , sister Audrey and nephew Kent Maynard. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Thursday from 3-6 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Bideford United Church Cemetery. In memory of Marjorie, donations to Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Bideford-Conway United Church would be appreciated.
