Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011.
Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 48 years Esther (McNeil); also his daughters, Michelle Clampett and Christine; two sons, Ron and James. Ron will be greatly missed by his brothers, Brendan (wife Rose) and youngest brother, Dale; and grandchildren, Christopher, Robert, Sarah, Emily (baby Shane), Justin, Jessica, Steven and Brett.
Predeceased by parents, Ronald ‘Rannie’ and Christine (McBride) McIntyre and in-laws, Catherine and Charlie McNeil, brothers, James, Joey and sister, Teresa.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. A celebration of life funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13 with Fr. Leo Boone officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Afterwards, all are invited to a reception in the parish hall.
