Passed peacefully away at her residence in Riverview, N.B. on August 7, 2011, Clara Ryan, age 77 years. Formerly of La Scie, NL. Predeceased by her first husband Hayward Ryan and their son Lorne; her second husband, Harvey Small; sister, Margaret Ward and brothers: Herbert, Edmund (Bobby), Gordon, Garfield, Azerella (“Reg”), Clarence, Harvey, and Garland (“Jack”) Hamlyn. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son, Leighton (Leigh) and his wife Vida and grandson Stephen Ryan of Riverview, N.B.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Visitation and Reception Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl on Friday, August 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Mount Pearl Citadel on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to Young People’s Ministries, Salvation Army, Mt.
