MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – With sadden hearts, our brother John in his 69th year passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Mississauga Hospital.
Born in Malay Falls he was the eldest son of the late Helen (Russell) and John M. MacLean.
John grew up in Lorne and Westville before moving to Mississauga, Ontario.
John will be sadly missed by his wife of 34 years, Jackie (Smith), daughter Teena Tourlosse (Danny), sons, Edward Coolen, all of Mississauga; John Edward Grover (Audrey), Blue Mountain; seven grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Heather), Christopher (Rhonda); sisters: Darlyn MacLean, Jennifer Fleury (David), all of Westville; Diane Phelan (Tom) Regina, Sask; Mary Sharp (Laurie), Sunny Brae; Shelley, New Glasgow; sister-in-law, Karen MacLean; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents John was predeceased by his brother Lloyd.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at his sister’s residence at 2064 South Main St., Westville on August 21 from 1-4 p.m.
