It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Ryan William Sperry age 20 of Amherst and Tidnish announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at home.
Born in Amherst, he was a son of Robert W. and Janice (White) Sperry.
He attended Amherst Regional High School and was very active in school and local sports.
Ryan was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Bob and Janice, three sisters Sarah, Jessica and Jenny Lynn and niece Alexis Emma all at home, three half sisters Peggy of Amherst, Trudy of Pictou and Linda of Dartmouth, one half brother Bobby of Amherst, his girlfriend of four years Robyn Greeno, his maternal grandparents Joseph and Dorothy White of Amherst and two uncles Gary Sperry and Mike White.
Ryan was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Alvin (Buck) and Hilda Sperry, one uncle Doug and one aunt Betty.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (667-9906).
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Campbell's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiating.
Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish.
