The death occurred peacefully, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, August 11, 2011, of Sheldon MacEwen of Summerside.
Born in Morell, he was the son of the late Bruce "B.W." and Eva (Webster) MacEwen. Survived by his loving wife Madeline (Greenan) MacEwen; sister Margaret Robinson, Charlottetown; nieces and nephews, Peter (Barbara) Robinson, Tyne Valley; Gail (Bob) Blair, Rhode Island; Shelley MacSween, Charlottetown; Susan (Brian) Duncan, Charlottetown; Bruce (Sharon) MacEwen, FL; Ian (Debbie) Zanin, NY; Blair Zanin, FL; and by sisters-in-law, Vange (Paul) O'Rourke, Charlottetown; Georgina Allan, Summerside; and Mildred Connelly, Toronto, ON. Sheldon will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Predeceased by sisters, Jean (Stel) Zanin and Edith, in infancy; brother, Heber (Leona) MacEwen; and brother-in-law, Keith Robinson.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
