Emil Kosolofski lost his battle with cancer on September 30, 2009 at the age of 71. Dad was born in Prelate, Saskatchewan on February 23, 1938. He married Patricia Sharpe on April 15,1961 and they raised 2 children together. They moved to Rouleau in 1976 when dad began working for the provincial government. After mom's passing in 2004, dad moved to Moose Jaw where he was very devoted to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also involved with charity work, he was very devoted to his church and in his spare time he loved playing bridge. He is predeceased by his wife Patricia, his parents Dan Kosolofski and Barbara Nilson, his brother Paul Kosolofski and his sisters Frankie Jorgenson, Gertrude Stoltz and Pat Phillips. He is survived by his special friend Dianne Bresett, his brothers Dennis Kosolofski, Joe Kosolofski (Jean), Mike Kosolofski (Doreen), Ted Kosolofski and Peter Kosi, his sisters Mary Pringle (Sam) and Mona Kosi, his 2 children Robert Kosolofski and Cheryl Cook (Doug Cook), his 5 grandchildren Kimberley Dietze (Nick Dietze), Keith Kosolofski, Karlee Kosolofski, Kristen Cook (Brett Moraes) and Kelsey Cook (Matt Burns), his 2 great-grandchildren Hannah Dietze and Jaxson Burns and also by many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 11:00 am at Parkview Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
