BOUDREAU, Linda Marguerite - 67, Lower Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 9, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Denis and Mary Rose (Saulnier) Comeau. Having earned her Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Library Sciences, she worked as the librarian at Universite Ste-Anne. Linda was a devoted member of Saint Michael’s Parish. She was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking and traveling. Surviving are her loving husband, Blair J. Boudreau, as well as their children, Marcel (Julie) Boudreau, Dartmouth; Ghislain Boudreau, Wedgeport; Mireille (Todd) Doucette, Wedgeport, as well as two loving grandchildren, Lucien & Simon, and a brother, Earl (Paulette) Comeau, Meteghan. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Gloria, in infancy, and Glenda Comeau. Visitation took place from 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday, August 11, with prayers at 8 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held on Friday, August 12, at 10 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Gilles Boudreau Memorial Fund. The family also request family flowers only.
