Peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Prince Edward Home on Friday, August 12, 2011, of Mrs. Louise Catherine Doiron (nee Gallant) of Charlottetown and formerly of South Rustico, age 78 years.
Beloved wife of the late Leo "Tonto" Doiron and dear mother of Kenny, Janet, Kevin (Phyllis), Rick (Susan), Larry, Nancy (Peter Perry), Stevie and Chris. She is also lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Nora Brine, sisters-in-law Florence Beaton, Marie Misener, Irma Gallant, Gloria Stewart and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Dolph and Maggie Gallant, brothers Allan and Clarence Gallant and sister Lena Walbourne.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Monday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
