RICHARD, MIRIAM (MICHAUD) - 1930-2011 - ST. EDOUARD DE KENT - Miriam (Michaud) Richard passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side at the Dr. Georges- L. Dumont
Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 11, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Rexton, she was the daughter of the late William and late Bertha (Mitchell) Michaud. Miriam will be sadly missed
by her two daughters, Jeanne LeBlanc (late Albert "Barr") and friend Bernard Gaudet of Shediac, Linda Richard (Bob Arsenault) of St. Anselme; one son, Steven Richard of St. Edouard; two grandchildren, Jason Richard and
Margot LeBlanc (Kevin); three great grandchildren, Jordon, Abby Gail and Danika Barr whom she cherished. Special friend, David Quigley; three sisters, Ruth McVicar (late Ralston) of Dartmouth NS, Phoebe Richard (late Dismas) of Bouctouche, Joyce of Chipman; one sister-in- law, Clara Martin (Walter) of Sudbury ON; one brother-in-law; Jean-Paul (Germaine) of Cocagne, also several nieces and nephews.
Miriam was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse Richard (1996); son, Conrad (1987); son-in-law, Albert Barr LeBlanc (1998); brother Harry and sister Dolly.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 14th, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Thompsons Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252). A special Thanks to the Doctors and nursing staff at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital for their care and compassion of our mother Miriam.
