(April 27, 1936 - August 5, 2011)– Passed peacefully away on Friday, August 5, 2011, at the L.A. Miller Centre, in the presence of his loving wife. Born in Salmon Cove, Carbonear, Lloyd Case was a former teacher and United Church Minister. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Margaret Case. He leaves to mourn, his devoted wife of 48 years, Mildred (nee Pike), and cherished sons: Andrew (Nori), Stephen (Gerry), and Jonathan (Shannon). He took great joy in his grandchildren: Julia, Allison, Megan, Aidan, and Ben. He was brother to: Gladys (Hayward deceased), Clive, Meta, Minnie (Neil), Margaret (Eldon), and Sylvia (Joann). In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation or service will be held. There will be a gathering for family and friends at a later date.
