(3rd Degree Knights of Columbus) – Born May 10th, 1926 in Red Island, Placentia Bay, Tony passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 embraced by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mabel (November 2008); his parents Michael and Petronella (Ellie) Ryan; sisters: Madonna, Catherine and Angela; brothers: John and Alex. He will remain forever in the hearts of his children: Mary Jamie Brown (Ed), Terri Ryan (Bernard Potvin), David Ryan (Susan) and Jean Ann Westcott (Tony); grandchildren: Stephen and Melissa Brown, Michael and Jordan Ryan, Emily and Isabelle Potvin, Laura, Ryan and Mark Westcott; and special niece Jean (Hod) Mallay, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Parkinson Society, Newfoundland and Labrador.
