LeBLANC, LÉONTINE - 1926-2011 - RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Léontine LeBlanc, 85, passed away peacefully at the Manoir Saint Jean Baptist in Bouctouche on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Eva (Léger) LeBlanc. She attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Club D’age D’or. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.
Léontine will be sadly missed by her son, Paul Mazerolle, of Pirogue; grandson, Ronald Mazerolle; five sisters, Bertha Arsenault, Jeannine Richard (Euclide), Marie Richard (Léandre), Alphonsine Allain (Vincent), all of Richibouctou-Village and Annette Saulnier (William), of Moncton; and one sister-in-law, Yvonne LeBlanc, of St. Ignace; nine brothers, Elias LeBlanc, Léo (Andréa), both of Richibucto, Yvon LeBlanc, Raould LeBlanc, both of Villa Maria, St. Louis, Zoël LeBlanc, of Villa Providence, Shediac, Alcide LeBlanc (Alice), Abel (Gemma), Gerard (Ida) and Rhéal (Jeannette), all of Richibouctou-Village; and by a special friend, Léo Paul; as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Léontine was predeceased by one brother, Adolphe; infant sister, Alphonsine; one brother-in-law, Adéodat; four sisters-in-law, Délima, Geneva, Doris and Lucie.
Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Donations to the Manoir St. Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche or a charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
