MACVEY, DOROTHY - Mrs. Dorothy MacVey of Sussex passed away on August 14, 2011 at the age of 84. Born in Saint John on March 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Wm. Murray Fraser and Freda G. (Sprague) Pentland and was the wife of the late Donald MacVey. Dorothy is survived by two sons: Andrew MacVey and his wife Sylvia of Passekeag Robert MacVey and his wife Kimberley of Passekeag, her sisters, Leslie Armstrong of Sussex, her son-in-law Paul Gaunce of Passekeag, six grandchildren: Ian and Lindsay Gaunce, Diana, Maggie, Kaitlynn and Jonathan MacVey as well as several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by two brothers, Daryl Fraser and Fenwick Fraser her daughter, Heather Gaunce on Jan 26th and by her husband Don February 7th earlier this year. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm.
