DEALHOY, DOROTHY ELIZABETH - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Dorothy E. Dealhoy of Waasis, NB on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elzie (Godwin) Devenne and wife of the late Robert W. Dealhoy. Dorothy was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Oromocto Senior Citizens Group. Dorothy is survived by her sons, R. Keith of Waasis, NB, Brian R. (Lea-Ann) of Oromocto, NB and E. Neil of Dartmouth, NS; daughter, Nancy J. Dobson of Quispamsis, NB; granddaughter, Jennifer Dobson of Quispamsis, NB, as well as a grandson, Robert Dealhoy of Oromocto, NB. Dorothy is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her parents; granddaughter, Amanda; brothers, Gordon, Russell, Norman and sister, Helen.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street (357-5100) on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 Ladies Auxiliary holding a tribute service at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the St. John’s Anglican Church, Oromocto on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Canon Walter Williams officiating.
