BOUCHER, ALFREDA - 21 January 1923 - 14 August 2011 - Alfreda Boucher, 88, of Moncton wife of the late Éloi Boucher, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Alfreda was born in Moncton, NB she was the daughter of the late Iréné and the late Edmée (Arsenault) Cormier. Before retiring in 1980, she worked at Parkton Heights Day Care. She enjoyed playing darts and loved animals. She is survived by her children; Gloria (Omer), Lola (Raph), Florine (Donald), Murielle (Daniel), Robert, Maurice (Angie), two brothers; Yvon (Jeannette) Gérard (Françoise), son-in-law: Gérald Sivret, sister-in-law: Yvonne Cormier, 11 grandchildren; Claudette, Denise, Angie, Sheila, Pamela, Krystal, Kayla, Glenda, Monique, Steven and Christopher, 23 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Alfreda was predeceased by her husband Éloi, son: Orelle Boucher, daughter: Nancy Sivret, brother: Raymond Cormier, two sisters: Stella (Leonard) Poirier and Gloria Cormier. A special thank you to all family and friends who helped to comfort her and keep vigil. Thank also to the Doctors, nurses and staff of The Moncton Hospital and Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre for the comfort, support and your understanding was greatly appreciated.
Funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
