BERGIN, EDITH L. (neeCROWELL) - Edith Bergin (nee Crowell), 90, of Moncton passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, formerly of Bridgetown, NS and Shediac NB. She was an avid gardener, naturalist, bird watcher and fisherman. Edith was born in Baccaro, NS. She was the youngest daughter of the late Elton and the late Annie (Smith) Crowell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald R. Bergin (1974), four sisters and by one brother. Edith is survived by her daughter: Myra Shelley Webster, son-in-law: Tim and grandson: Brian.
By her request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A grave side service will be held at Beaver River Cemetery in Port Maitland, NS on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 3:00pm Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke would be appreciate by the family.
