Rheva passed away due to complications following a stroke, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband, Horace, and son, Bruce, Rheva is survived by her granddaughters Kelly (George) Smith of Barrie, Ontario, and Rhonda (Anthony) Kenna of Cumbria, England, and her great-grandson, Cameron Smith, of St. Catharines, Ontario. Rheva is also survived by a very special niece, Wendy (Ed) Sidebottom of Caronport, nieces Elaine (Norm) Meyers of Estevan, Leora (Tom) Sukarukoff of Regina, Paula (Gabe) Freeman of Simpson, Charleen (Ron) Waruk of Keewatin, Ontario, and a dear friend, Patricia Brown, of Moose Jaw. Born Rheva Mary Davidson, and raised in rural Saskatchewan, Rheva met the love of her life, Horace; while attending school in Moose Jaw and it was there that they made their home and raised their only child. A long-time employee of Sears Canada, Rheva worked in the old Main Street store, and followed her job to the new Town & Country Mall when it opened. An avid golfer, bunko player and gardener, Rheva was also a long standing member of the local branches of the Royal Purple and the Eastern Star, a supporter of both the Elks Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, and a dedicated parish member of the Anglican Church. Vivacious and strong spirited to the end, she will be greatly missed. The family sincerely thanks the staff at Providence Place, Dr. Decoteau and Dr. A. Luhning, for their loving care of Rheva. At Rheva’s request, no funeral will be held. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In living memory of Rheva, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
