It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN T. DIMMER of Fox Cove announces his passing at The Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Saturday July 23, 2011 at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Veronica of 64 years; Sons Eugene (Cathy) of Fox Cove, John (Mary) of Fox Cove, Danny (Margurite) of Fox Cove; Daughters Theresa Lee of Kitchener, ON., and Alice Whitten of Fox Cove; Sister Emily Turpin (Dave); Sisters-in-law Theresa Dimmer of Paradise, and Molly Dimmer of Florida; Brothers Albert (Bernice) of Florida and Alphonsus (Leeanna) of California; 9 Grandchildren Stephen, Kelly, Jonathan, Bradley, Jaclyn, Michael, Jack, Jennifer and Michael; 2 Great-Grandchildren Trinity and Cody; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Son-in-law Ray Whitten; Parents John T. & Emily Dimmer; Brothers Albert, Henry, Leo, and Arch; Sisters Genevieve, Alice and Betty. Funeral Mass will took place on Wednesday July 27, 2011 at 2:00pm from St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Burin. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Fox Cove. In John’s memory, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or flowers gratefully accepted.
