LeGOFF, ELAINE MARY - (1951-2011) - KOUCHIBOUGUAC - The death of Elaine Mary LeGoff, 60, of Tweedie Brook Road, Kouchibouguac occurred suddenly August 15th, 2011 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent. Born in Rexton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Doreen (Woods) LeGoff. In her earlier years, Elaine attended a school for the hearing impaired in Montreal. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a source of inspiration to many. Survivors include one brother; Brian (Kathy) of Winnipeg, Romeo and Anna Cormier and family (caregivers) of Kouchibouguac, one niece; Deborah Young (Robert) and one nephew Derek LeGoff (Crystal) both of Winnipeg, one grand-niece; Brittany, two grand-nephews; Blair and Tyler and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father in 1990 and mother in 2004.
Elaine will be resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 19th, 2011 at 4:00 pm, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
