Kilbride
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011 of Lorne Kilbride of Bayside/Grand River, P.E.I., aged 93 years. Lorne was born on Sept. 2, 1917 in Port Hill, P.E.I. to his late parents Percy and Catherine (nee MacIntyre) Kilbride. Beloved husband of Betty (nee McNeill) Kilbride and loving father of Allison (Hazel) of Bayside, Vince of Edmonton, AB., Paula (Mark) O'Connor of Vancouver, BC., Ann (John) MacDonald of Summerside and Mike (Irene) of Bayside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kendra, Julia, Jennifer, Mitch, Christina, Jolyssa, Andrea, Jonah and Peyton and six great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his sisters Anna Banks of Summerside and Loretta Badke of New York. Besides her parents Lorne was predeceased by his son Darrell, brothers Gus and Gerry and sisters Kathleen, Eva, Theresa, Lorraine and Eleanor. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, Aug. 20, then to St. Patrick's Church, Grand River for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Due to family allergies, please refrain from wearing perfumes or scents.
