The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, of Mr. Daniel “Dan” M. Morris, of Charlottetown and formerly of Souris, aged 72 years.
Beloved husband of Diane (nee Emond), and loving father of Danny (Linda) Duquette. He was predeceased by his stepchildren Larry, Carol Ann and Roy Duquette; his parents, Finbar and Florence (MacDonald) Morris,;and brother, Hubert “PeeWee” Morris.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Saturday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorials in Dan’s memory may be made to Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
Visiting hours at the funeral home Friday evening 6 to 9 p.m.
Charlottetown Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will gather at the funeral home for a veteran’s tribute service for their late comrade Friday evening at 5:45 p.m.
