The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, of Frances Griffith, formerly of Geneva Villa and Morell, veteran of Second World War, aged 89.
Wife of the late Arthur Griffith. Survived by brothers, Skip (Cookie) McDonald of Morell, Raymond MacDonald and Merlin MacDonald; and by sisters, Elizabeth Keller, Bonnie Crichton and Mary (Leonard) Guilbault; and by sisters-in-law, Beatrice McDonald and Audrey McDonald all of Ontario. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, Gus and Mae MacDonald; brothers, Reggie, Basil, Alfred and Roddie; and by her sister, Althea Myers.
Funeral mass to be celebrated on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa, The Little Flower, Morell. No wake by personal request. Interment in St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Morell.
