NICKERSON, G. Ida, 79, West Head, Shelburne County, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born at East Pubnico on August 15, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mazie (Goodwin) Blades. She is survived by sons, Franklin (Rosemary), Timothy (Lisa), both of West Head; sisters, Elizabeth (Evan) Goreham, Wood’s Harbour, Florence (Ted) Goodwin, Argyle; grandchildren, Tiffany, Lacey, Frankie, Robert; 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; daughter, Regina; grandson, Andrew; sister, Viola Spence. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 17 at the West Head Baptist Church, Pastor Bradley Pass officiating. Burial was in the West Head Cemetery.
