Lillie Hoda Gader

GADER - Lillie H. of Swift Current, SK passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Kyle Health Facility with her family by her side. She was born in Cessford, AB, December 17, 1918 and attended school at Wardlow, AB. She married Em Gader on December 12, 1938 at McMahon, SK. Lillie was a member of the McMahon Ladies Aid and the Swift Current Bowling Club. She enjoyed all sports, gardening, shopping, playing cards and rodeos. Lillie enjoyed family and friends very much. She had a very special sense of humour until her passing. Coffee and lunch was a must when company arrived. A very generous host. She will be greatly missed by all family and friends. She was a very concerning and caring Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma. Lillie leaves to mourn her passing; Son Alec (Lila) Gader and their children Connie (Mark) Wanner, Michele (Shawn) Cassidy and Charles Gader; Daughter Shirley (Gordon) Hesla and their children Tracy (Tammy) Hesla, Tricia (Todd) Noble; Son Raymond (Louise) Gader and their children Tyson, Nikki and Danni Gader, Darnelle, and Aaron Bahnuik; Son Alvin Gader and Grandson Scott Finlay; 15 Great Grandchildren; Brothers Dick (Anne), Louie (Carole), Chuck (Casey) High Zeer; Sisters Vi (Bud) Martin, Margie (Ted) Swordy and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Em Gader, parents High and Evelyn Zeer, Daughters Judy Gader and Faye Finlay, Brothers Hosyine, Fred and Curly Zeer, Sister Mary Laplace, Brother-in-law Lou Laplace, and Sisters-in-law Doris Zeer and Lorraine Zeer. Her funeral service was held on Friday, October 2, 2009 from the Credit Union Iplex, Swift Current, SK with Reverend Bonita Chad officiating. The pianist was Arlie Neufeld, eulogist was her Granddaughter Connie Wanner, ushers were her Granddaughters Michele Cassidy, Tricia Noble, Nikki Gader, and Danni Gader and pallbearers were George Willatt, Tracy Hesla, Scott Finlay, Tyson Gader, Ryan Dyck and Jason Zeer. The interment service followed at Mount Pleasant Burial Park, Swift Current, SK. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
