The death occurred suddenly at his home in Toronto of Gerard Robert Rowe on August 12, 2011, in his 73rd year.
Gerard was the son of Albert and Margaret Rowe (nee Curley) and was lovingly raised by his father and stepmother Frances Rowe (nee McCarville). Gerard was predeceased by his father, mother, and sister Gwen Rowe Burton. Survived by his stepmother Frances, siblings Alberta McMullan (Tom-deceased), Helen Mulvihill (Bob), Paula Rose (Fred), Charles (LinAnn), Joanne, Bernadette (Joe McAskill), Janet Cann, Beverley, Karen Connell (Doug), John (Teresa), Peter, Mary Clare (Mike Adams), Jennifer, 11 nieces, 8 nephews, 3 grand nephews, 1 grand niece and 1 aunt, Sr. Joanne McCarville.
A celebration of Gerard’s life will be held at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga, ON., on August 24th at 1 p.m. Interment in St. James Catholic Church Cemetery, Summerfield, P.E.I., will take place at a later date.
