FINCH, Miss Patricia Eileen – March 17, 1913 - December 1, 2008. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, in the presence of her loving family, Miss Patricia Eileen Finch, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her parents, William and Catherine (Baker) Finch; sisters Esther Finch and Mary Long and brothers George, Bob and Gerald Finch. Leaving to celebrate her long and happy life are her sister, Betty Whalen (Charles - deceased), with whom she resided, and brothers Edward and John Finch and their families. Also left with happy memories are many nieces and nephews, especially Tish and Ken Tobin, Charlene and Gord Pike, Cathy and David Levesque and Jeanette and Doug Boutlier; great-nieces and nephews, especially Christopher Tobin (Laura Delahunty), Ashley Tobin, Kerry Pike (Chris Kidney) and Jacqueline Clarke and her very special pet, Brooklyn. Miss Finch was a long time employee of Ogilvys Department Store in Montreal as credit manager and Bowring Brothers in St. John’s as Personnel Manager. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday, December 3, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, December 4, at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Daffodil Place or a charity of ones choice.
