OTIS, MATHIEU - 1988 - 2011 - Mathieu Otis, 23, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2011, at the Moncton Hospital as a result of complications from a work related accident. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Sylvain Otis and Theresa Landry. Besides his mother, Theresa Landry (Gary McDonald) of Dieppe and his father, Sylvain Otis (Yvonne LeBreton) of Moncton, he is survived by one sister, Veronique and one brother, Justin, both of Dieppe; his girlfriend, Stephanie Dupuis and her daughter, Kayla, both of Shediac; his maternal grandfather, Hervé (Carmel) Landry of Moncton; his paternal grandmother, Germaine Otis of Amqui, QC; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Landry and also by his paternal grandfather, Jean-Baptiste Otis.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at 11 am. Interment at Saint-Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook, NB.
