Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, of Mr. Carl R. Adams of Marshfield age 69 years.
Beloved husband of Cynthia “Tippi” (nee Kennedy) Adams and dear father of Carla Lynn Adams and Cory Lane (Sherry) Adams. Much-loved grandfather of Mitchell (Danielle) Adams, Amanda and Stephanie White, Nickolas, Jesse and Rebecca Adams; great-grandfather of Caiden and Chase Adams. He is also survived by sisters and brothers, Anna (Francis) Smith, Lloydia (Willard) Wedlock, Gordon (Lynn) Adams and Russell Adams; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman (Morinne) Kennedy and Paula (David) Platts; his aunts and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Dorothy (nee Barnett) Adams, brother, Billy; mother and father-in-law, Marne and Helen Kennedy.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where a celebration of Carl’s life will be held on Tuesday evening, 5 to 8 p.m. No funeral service by personal request. Interment later.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
