At the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home in Charlottetown on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, of Wheaton Gosbee, formerly of Abney, age 87 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Beloved husband of Alice (nee Fuller). Loving father of Albert, Charlottetown; Victor (Grace), Glen (Debby), both of Murray River; Byron (Helina), Charlottetown; Clark, Toronto; Agnes, Charlottetown; Barbara (Jason) Anderson, Dalhousie, N.B.; and Leighton (Beverley) Charlottetown. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Fred, and sisters, Margaret Larter, Jackie Creed and Joan Mahar. Predeceased by sons, Gary and Brett, and sisters, Elizabeth and Clara.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday, then to Murray Harbour Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Visitation Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. only.
