LEO BERUBE
1945 ~ 2009

With heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of Leo Victor Berube, age 64, of Kamloops, BC on October 1, 2009. He bravely fought a 5 Ω year battle with cancer and lost.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vi; two sons Mike of CFB Esquimalt and Robert (Bob) of Victoria, BC. He also leaves to mourn, sisters Julie (Joe Magusin) of Farmington, BC, Violet McNamara of Edmonton, Jeanine (Stan Budd) of Sherwood Park, AB, and Louise (Jim Beattie) of Grande Prairie, AB and brothers Omer of Dawson Creek, BC, and Blair of Dawson Creek, BC; and many nieces and nephews .

Leo was predeceased by his sisters Colette and Denise, brother Magloire.

Leo had many passions in life, some of which were working at Norgaard Redimix and fixing up old cars. There wasn't anything that Leo couldn't fix or rebuild or remodel. He will be sadly missed by many friends.

A very special thanks to Mary at Hospice and Leo's friend Doug who visited him every Sunday to cheer him up. Also many thanks go to the wonderful staff at the Royal Inland Hospital Cancer Clinic.

There is no service by his request. Cremation to follow. Donations in Leo's memory would be greatly appreciated if directed to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Cr., South, Kamloops, BC, V2E 2S9.
