LOCKHART, Veralyn Sue - 64, of New Minas, Kings County, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, VG Site, Halifax. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Frances (Brewster) Kelly. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and going for drives. She is survived by three daughters, Janice (Gary) Bond, New Minas; Linda (Cameron) Hatt, Greenwood; Faye (John) Needham, Cambridge, Ontario; four sons, James Arnburg, New Minas; Gary (Diane) Arnburg, Cambridge, Ontario; Robert (Paulette) Arnburg, Bridgetown; Kenny (Shauna) Lockhart, Greenwood; a brother, Michael (Patty) Kelly, New Minas; 15 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; an aunt, Jackie Brewster, English Mountain Road; an uncle Willis Brewster, Ontario; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Danny; a grandson, David. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by request. A private family graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville, Reverend Doctor William Moorehead officiating.
