Passed away peacefully in his 92nd year on Monday, July 25, 2011, in Victoria, B.C.
Lovingly remembered by wife, Joan; children, Anne Smith (Jim Smith) of Kingston, Jane Knight of Montreal; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, Jenny and Ernest Beer, and brother, William "Pud" Beer.
