Otterson, Irene Faye – 69, Crowes Mills, passed away August 21, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro with her family by her side. Born in Onslow Mountain, she was a daughter of Celia Lynds, Truro and the late Alfred Lynds. Irene worked at Stanfields Ltd. for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Orville; sons, Greg, Crowes Mills; Casey (Tracey), Hilden; four loving grandchildren, Blake, Brittany, Cameron and Haley; brothers, Donald (Helen), Onslow Mountain; William (Vie), Crowes Mills; Eric (Nancy), Ontario; sisters, Irma Lemmons (Kenny); Rosalie McCallum (Morris); both of North River; Phyllis Wilson (Charles), Bible Hill; Joan McAuley (Warren), Darlene Blaikie (Kerry), both of Lunenburg; Jane Moore (Dave Aldars), Truro. Besides her father, she was predeceased by brothers, Murray, Foster and Robert. No visitation or funeral service by request. A private family graveside service will be held in Belmont.
