McBurnie, Aubrey Warren, 82, of Economy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born in Economy he was a son of the late Warren and Clara (Marsh) McBurnie. The family of Aubrey McBurnie would like to extend their sincerest thank you to the Palliative Care Team of Consult Nurse Ann McKim, Dr. Henderson, Dr. Smith and to all the wonderful VON Nurses who gave such amazing care to our husband and father Aubrey during his illness. Your kindness will always be remembered. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm today, August 24 and funeral service 2pm Thursday, August 25, all in the Economy United Church, Rev. Don MacQueen officiating, with interment to follow in the Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
